Wake up to ocean breezes and a view of the Cape May Point Lighthouse in this bright, airy beach house just one block from the sand. With 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, it comfortably sleeps up to 6 guests. This is the home's very first rental season, so everything is in like-new condition.

Life here centers on the second floor: a large, open great room full of natural light, with a vaulted ceiling, exposed beams and custom woodwork. Four sliding doors open onto a big deck with a grill, so you can hear the waves over morning coffee and eat dinner outside as the sun goes down. Curl up in the cushioned bay window, or stream music through the Bluetooth sound system and its ceiling speakers.

Cooks will love the kitchen. It was renovated two years ago with all-new appliances and is well stocked with sharp knives, good cookware and utensils. A center island with bar stools keeps everyone in the conversation, and there's a half bath on the same floor.

Downstairs, each of the quiet bedrooms has a queen bed, and two have en-suite baths, including the primary suite with a spa tub. Rinse off the sand in the private outdoor shower before heading inside.

Right outside, a large native-plant garden attracts butterflies and birds. A short walk takes you to the lighthouse, Cape May Point State Park, The Nature Conservancy's South Cape May Meadows, Cape May Bird Observatory and the Cape May Point Arts & Science Center. This lovely rental offers a wonderful setting for making lasting vacation memories.

Guests provide sheets and towels.

No pets please due to owner's severe allergies.
